Brennan Rubie grew up in Salt Lake City and joining the snowbird program as a Devo. Snowbird was the perfect program to foster his competitive spirit and love for the outdoors. Surrounded by an incredible group of young U.S. Ski Team and big mountain hopefuls like Jared Goldberg and Angel Collinson, Brennan grew into somewhat of a prodigy of his own. As he clearly didn’t write this profile for himself, his classically good, sophisticated sense of fashion, and stand out sense of humor eventually carried him to the U.S. Ski Team where he earned several participation awards for representing the US at the 2015 and 2017 World Championships. Following several major injuries, he retired in favor of the quiet life. Drawing upon his extensive time in rehabilitation and curiosity towards performance and human movement, he returned to school to earn his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training while to coaching part-time with all ages with SBSEF. Beginning in 2020 he accepted an assistant coaching job with the Paralympic Alpine ski team but hopes to remain involved with the program as much as possible in the future.
